Relax, refresh, and feel right at home in this spacious greatroom with panoramic view,  comfortable seating, full kitchen, dining table, desk and wood burning stove.  You will also find a limited number of books, games, and puzzles for times when you are not outside picking wild berries, beachcombing or taking in the spectacular sunsets.

Sleeping Arrangements

His Cabin Retreat has two bedrooms and one spacious loft.  The master bedroom has a king bed.  The second bedroom has two twin beds.  The loft has one double, and three extra long twin beds.  The sofa in the living room is also equipped with a hideaway bed.  All basic linens provided.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

His Cabin Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen which includes a propane range and refrigerator.  The cabin also has a gas barbeque located on the front deck; perfect for  barbequing fresh Alaskan seafood.  The kitchen is stocked with staples such as sugar, flour, salt and spices.  Be sure to bring an appetite for quiet, along with plenty of your own favorite food, beverages & snacks.  The fresh air can really make you hungry and there is no corner store and the only take out is "take out of the ocean and cook."

Heating/Plumbing

The cabin has a wood stove with plenty of chopped firewood stacked outside.  There is also a propane monitor heater.

Enjoy the Alaskan wilderness in comfort His Cabin Retreat has two indoor restrooms with hot & cold running water.  The water is a catchmatt system so it doesn't come any fresher than this when your in the Tongass Rainforest.

Cabin Extras

Roast marshmallows or just enjoy the night air while sitting around the  fire pit complete with rustic benches.  During the summer there are lots of blue berries for your morning scones or muffins. Enjoy your own private dock.  Watch  whales, sea lions, seals, and sea otters play and feed in the cool clean water.  Many guest enjoy fishing off the dock.  For those looking for more serious saltwater fishing experience we can arrange for a charter fishing company to pick you up from the dock for a day of fun on the water.
